The simple trick to fight back against anger

Photo by Jason Hafso on Unsplash

The next time you’re angry, or feel the emotion creeping on you, take out a sheet of paper. Anything like the Notes app on your phone or a Notion page won’t work as well. Get a pen or a pencil. Jot down any five things that you are extremely grateful for, and anymore if you still feel the rage. This puts the thing that you are pissed about off your mind, allowing you to breathe easier. This technique is super effective, so much so that I have used it 9 times already today. Top it off with some box breathing and soon anger won’t even be a thing for you, which is useful for extremely Hulk-angry people like me.

Remember, keeping this advice in your head won’t do you any good, get out there and get practicing, you lazy ass. Do the hard work, especially when you don’t feel like it.
